“ They have super fast service and delicious food! Came here on a rainy night, and the veggie tofu ramen hit perfectly! ”
“ Awesome ramen shop with friendly service and a menu offering something for everyone. I've been here a handful of times and have had the luxury of ordering something different each time. That's how many vegan options they have! The attention to detail from the server in my most recent visit was very nice. He knew I was a fan of spice and brought me a shichimi shaker without me even having to ask. Also, some places (I don't know why!!) charge extra for increasing the spice level. I'm so glad this is not one of those places! When you step into this ramen shop, you feel like you're in Japan (except the space is much larger than most ramen shops in Japan but you know what I mean). The decor is quaint and comforting, just like the spots I used to frequent when I lived in the countryside out there. This is my preferred ramen spot in the South Bay! ”
“ As a vegetarian who adores ramen, I found this place to be a delightful gem! The broth is flavorful, and there's a great selection of vegetable-based options. My friends and I had a wonderful time enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and savoring every bite of the delicious ramen. Thank you for a memorable dining experience! ”
“ A cute mom&pop shop for ramen! I came across this place on Yelp as my bf and I were looking for a quick dinner in the area. Tucked away inside a plaza, I was happy to have come across this spot. It's a cute, small, cozy restaurant with a handful of tables. The menu has a good variety of classic and new ramen choices to choose from with a good spread of appetizers. We got the croquettes, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft & fluffy filling with corn and potatoes. As far as the ramen, this is a good spot to satisfy the ramen cravings. My bf ordered the Tonkatsu Curry Ramen -- the broth was a bit thinner than he liked since he's probs used to the thicker curries. Taste was good! I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen (extra spicy) -- it didn't taste as spicy as I'd like but no problem and I added extra togorashi seasoning, which was provided for the table. The noodles and broth were so good! It definitely satisfied my ramen cravings. I'd come back if we wanted a quick ramen fix! ”
“ Definitely solid ramen spot. Great for vegetarians too as I think they had at least 4 options for vegetarians. Great customer service as well, very friendly staff! - There's a huge van that seems to be parked in front of it a lot and it pretty much blocks the entire restaurant from outside. I'd recommend talking to whoever owns it and move it for better business visibility. - I prefer the noodles to be more on the firm side, but they were on the softer side. The broth was great though, if you can stick the landing on making a savory broth, that's enough in my book. I'm giving it a 5 star in spirit of supporting local small businesses. ”
“ Food: *Black Garlic Ramen *Tonkotsu Curry Ramen Service & Ambiance: Cozy ambiance. Nice mom and pop restaurant with ~30 guest occupancy. Ideal for of parties 1-4. Studio Ghibli music was playing while we enjoyed our meal :) ”
“ Looking for a new ramen place found this one. Decided to give it a try. Had the tonkatsu ramen with spicy addition. First place I've had ramen that spicy was actually meaningful. The spice wasn't overpowering, but u could taste and feel it. It was an amazing complement to the broth. The broth was smooth and flavorful, not overly thick or oily. Simple, but very effective. The noodles were thin and medium firm, great texture and flavor. Very well made noodles. Loved it will be coming back to try more flavors. Takoyaki was fantastic also. Crunchy outside and soft on the inside, perfectly cooked. ”
“ Ramen is good any time of year but I especially enjoy eating ramen in colder weather. I consider Juban ramen to be a hole in the wall and undiscoverable unless through word of mouth or Yelp! Juban is consistent and I recommend their tonkotsu ramen with the deep pork bone broth - it's so soothing! Two thin slices of chashu, some bamboo, bean sprouts, half soft boiled egg, green onions and chewy noodles for $16. Max capacity I'd say is about 25 people with 10 tables so service is quick. The chicken karage uses tender and juicy thigh meat but I do prefer the batter to be more crispy. All in all solid ramen place; give it a try in you're in the area. ”
“ My mom and I stopped by on a weekday for lunch and though the place is small, it was packed. We both ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and were in a food coma afterwards. This place is a hidden gem for rich, savory ramen but more so, I'm impressed by their attentive service. The person that was waitering for the entire shop noticed my mom wasn't touching her water and, without us mentioning anything, brought out some tea for her. We were both very impressed. I could recommend this place for the service alone. ”
“ I came here due to a ramen craving, so my friend and I ordered the tantanmen ramen and the tonkatsu ramen along with the takoyaki. If there was one thing you could order here, it has to be the takoyaki. It was perfectly crisp on the outside, the octopus bit was good, and the flavor was just on point. My friend liked his tantanmen ramen--it was peanut-y and had a strong sesame oil flavor. I preferred the tonkatsu-- I do feel like it was missing the fatty depth that this ramen usually has, but it had a really nice, light flavor to it. The egg was also perfectly jammy. I'm not a huge fan of egg that just runs into the broth because you lose some of that eggy flavor. Overall, I would definitely recommend if you're looking for ramen in this area. ”
